BOURTON SHEDDERS AT YOUR SERVICE
The Bourton Men in Sheds core objective is to provide a positive health benefit to the local community.
As people live longer and hope to remain fit and able, they often need something to keep them active, physically and mentally. The Bourton Shed is where men come together to benefit themselves and the community, interact socially and have a laugh.
Sometimes it can be difficult to get men involved in social groups. However, many men enjoy using their own shed to carry out repairs or tinker with machinery or build things on their own. The Bourton Men in Sheds initiative provides an environment ,“The Bourton Shed”, and the social group, “The Shedders”, where men come together for their own benefit and well being, along with providing a much needed service to the local community.

SUPPORT THE SHED
We welcome all donations either financial, tools, equipment or materials. Large organisations and charities have helped us meet the costs of running the shed. Individuals have helped through donating tools or equipment. Others have simply popped by with cake and biscuits - the essential fuel for all shedders. What ever your donation no matter the size it will be enthusiastically received |
NEED OUR HELP?
We help the local community in many ways. We've made notice boards, built exhibition stands, repaired furniture, fixed fences and gates. We'll look at all requests and give you an honest answer as to our ability to help. We don't work to deadlines but will work on projects enthusiastically. All we ask is for you to pay for any materials we have to purchase and make a small donation to cover the ongoing costs of the shed. |
